hi,

in my forum i use the bluegrey and redgrey theme on 1.9.5.5

today i installed internet explorer 9. unfortunately the styles are broken - e.g. blue buttons are transparent, textboxes are no longer displayed, when i want to post a message the large textbox is not active. only when i click on a smiley the text input box becomes active.

any clues?

IE9 is not a stable release - it's RC and , as far as I can see, it's still heavily buggy.

BTW, I'm using IE9 for Windows Server 2008 R2 64bit.

to me it looks like as some javascript initialization does not work on IE9 (e.g. divs / dropdownlists / etc. not found)

IE9 is not a stable release - it's RC and , as far as I can see, it's still heavily buggy.

hopefully the issues will be fixed in the final / stable release.

however on this forum site i don't have any style problems - but here another style is used.

I fixed the issue with the dropdowns and textboxes, updated css files are in svn.

You can use the ie compatibly mode, to avoid such problems
