Hi there,

I was having a similar problem, and it was driving me mad. I have my forum on www.domain1.com, and I am presenting this forum via an iFrame on www.domain2.com. When I navigated to www.domain2.com, using FF everything worked as expected. However, when I tried IE7, I was getting "Access is Denied" errors when I tried to view a members last 10 posts, or when I went to view that members's statistics.

http://forums.asp.net/p/1216682/3277777.aspx#3277777

The problem related to the ASP.NET AJAX method getLocation() function. I tweaked the javascript a small bit to get it working in IE7 and FF. I added the code below to the bottom of my forum/default.aspx page and hey presto everything worked fine.

        <script type= "text/javascript">

            // add hack to fix XSS "Access is Denied" error
            // see: http://forums.asp.net/p/1216682/3277777.aspx#3277777 for more details
            // if IE then
            if (document.all)
            {
                Sys.UI.DomElement.getLocation=function(a){if(a.self||a.nodeType===9)return new Sys.UI.Point(0,0);var b=a.getBoundingClientRect();if(!b)return new Sys.UI.Point(0,0);var c=a.document.documentElement,d=b.left-2+c.scrollLeft,e=b.top-2+c.scrollTop;try{var g=a.ownerDocument.parentWindow.frameElement||null;if(g){var f=2-(g.frameBorder||1)*2;d+=f;e+=f}}catch(h){}return new Sys.UI.Point(d,e)};
            }

        </script>

HTH
