When I go to the admin page, on the left side where there are navigation menus, there is a section for NNTP and another where you can view version or install the forum. Now my question is; can I remove these 2 sections from the admin page as I am never going to use NNTP (whatever that is :?: :? ) and the other section since the forum is already installed and I know what version I have.

You'll have to re-code the admin page to stop rendering these options.

But why? Only ADMINS see it! And, by Murphy's Law, if you remove it, your guaranteed to need it later!
