Hi there 🙂 ,

We are using YAF forum and whilst adding a new topic or replying not able to upload image however it has image tag functionality.

Do any one have idea on how to place or add upload image option in the editor? Please do let me know....that would be great for me and much appreciated

To add am image in the editor, you need to add the url to the image.

Thank you for your reply and what i need is to add upload image button to browse and select the image to upload. Do you have any idea? Kindly let me know...

Hi krraju82,

You can used RTE ( Rich Text Editor) ex: FCKEditor,RadEditor ... to use Upload function for Upload/Select and Insert Image from your site

You can use the Attach function to achieve this, provided you are fine with the image appearing at the bottom of the posting. There will be an Attach button on your posts.

YAF version 1.9.1.8 is what I am running; site is www.ChristianHealingForum.com. I am hosting through GoDaddy.

I have it set so that all member and above access masks have upload abilities on the forum's settings. Am I needing to do something like this through GoDaddy? Or is there a way to create an online folder that everyone has the ability to upload to?

PS: YAF is pretty awesome. Thanks for all yalls work in creating it.

YOu need to give WRITE permission to the upload directory in GoDaddy panel.

I am using YAF 1.9.4 and there is no FCKEditor , the only editors available are

Basic YafBBCode Editor

Yaf Standard Yaf BBCode Editor

TinyMCE(BBCode)

TinyMCE(HTML)

I would like to know,how can I upload image when I post a topic?

I can't find the "Attach files to this post", my YAF version is: 1.9.4. Does this version remove the feather or do I need config something?

Actually I can upload images, but I want to embed images to be in the content of my post not at the end. In other work I want to be able to upload image in a predefined folder and then use it it in [img] tag.

it is easy to load image in image editor , but i can't understand how to embed image to the post content either, any help at this. and also can i put it into the place i want. that would be more wonderful.
