Hello,

We are upgrading from 2.2.4.5 to 2.3.1.3.

Applying the procedure described here , some steps related to the web.config keys could not be applied to our file, as simply as it's described in the documentation.

We do not remember that we made any modification in our original web.config, which could explain the differences against the documentation.

Per instance:
• This is a genuine copy/paste from the documentation mentioned here-above:
  • Change the Line from....

    type="YAF.UrlRewriter.Configuration.RewriterConfigurationSectionHandler, YAF.UrlRewriter"

    requirePermission="false" />

    to

    type="YAF.UrlRewriter.Configuration.RewriterConfigurationSectionHandler, YAF.UrlRewriter"

    requirePermission="false" />

    We cannot see the difference between the "from" and the "to" syntax.

    FYI, in our original web.config, the "rewriter" clause looked like this:

    type="Intelligencia.UrlRewriter.Configuration.RewriterConfigurationSectionHandler, Intelligencia.UrlRewriter"

    requirePermission="false" />

    We took the liberty to change our original clause by the one mentioned (twice) in the documentation.

    Did we miss something, or does the documentation need to be edited / clarified ?

  • Change the Line from....

  • to

    We could not find such a "" clause in our original web.config file.

    We took the liberty to add the "YAF.Configuration" clause.

    Could you guys share your experience or comments on that?
Thanks!

    Kind regards,

    GB

    Thats correct. looks like not all installations have the entry for YAF.Classes.
