But that needs some testing)

i was also thinking the same like for mobile theme we can enable the dnn portal to fwd it to yaf forum tab and set mobile theme to show the login link on yaf , where users with facebook/twitter can login .. cuz on a mobile device ppl prefer spending less time on data entry ..

but i couldnt get what you meant by "existing users of DNN" .. how will DNN link fb account with there accounts ? :s

Existing users can use this feature when they add their facebook User id to to the YAF User Profile Page, and enable the User Setting "Did you want to Use Single Sign On?".

When a User try to log in via facebook, yaf checks if a user exists with that email address, if the user id matches and

if the Setting is enabled.

New Users

There is also a second Option when a facebook user is logging in but do not exist in the forum by default the user will be ignored, but there is a new Host Setting "Register New Facebook User automatically" which auto register the facebook user on the forum, the profile settings will be imported. An automatically Generated Password will be emailed to the user. That the user is able to login normally into yaf without facebook.

If the user would be found in Yaf inside DNN the login process would be basically the same since dnn and yaf both uses standard ASP.NET Membership
