http://generationweb.in/ forum/ and its working fine.

I also have a wordpress blog installed.

Since search engines are indexing my forum & blog with the same domain name i wanted to move the forum to subdomain(i read somewhere that search engines treat sub domains as different websites)

I downloaded the final version of yaf(YAF-v1.9.5-FINAL-BIN) and uploaded all the files to subdomain http://forum.generationweb.in and added the necessary settings and it installed successfully.

The problem is that im unable to login using my existing username but im able to see all my posts

Im using the same database.

Could you tell me whats wrong?

I can login here http://generationweb.in/forum

but i cant login here http://forum.generationweb.in

First guess would be that the membership sections in web config are different.

Did you use same web.config??

Added to the fact also; that "No New Posts" text is only showing because it can't find the image in your theme.

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon 🙂 )
