I am using yetanotherforum.
I have found that the data under "Statistics" does not update immediately.
For example - If a user posts a new topic or post then this will appear in active discussions. The time of last post will update in front of the forum.
But "statistics" will not update immediately. It will continue showing the old statistics and will update after some time.

Plz tell me the reason for this and how to overcome this problem.

Statistics are cached, to improve performance. For this reason it updates just after some time.

One way how to overcome it (and this is what will be done in official YAF in the future) is to drop/refresh cache every time someone posts.
