i realize i'm being a total noob here, but I just can't find the CSS templates to edit. I would like to customize the size and coloring/branding of my site. Is there a general FAQ for yaf?

The style sheets are located in a directory called themes. You will see several sub-directories, one for each theme installed. You will also see an XML file named the same as the theme directory.

For example, you should see a XML file called YAFPro.XML and a sub-directory also called YAFPro.

The XML file hold the resource tag, providing information on image name and location that each resource should use.

The related sub-cirectory holds all of the images (GIF and PNG) and the style sheet related to that theme. The "theme.css" file is what you want.

User herman_herman has written an outstanding WIKI on the themes used in YAF and how to edit them. Check it out here...
