Log in as an administrator. the link is in the upper right-hand corner. If you can't see it, the account your using does not have the correct access rights.

I too am experiencing the same problem after going through the setup (Install/defgault.aspx). Now when I go to the forum (http://www.wamimusic.com/Forumn/default.aspx ) the admin sign link is missing. Is it possible to go back through the setup step? Do I need to remove my database first?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Update:

I tried to re-create the database and get this error... "User does not have permission to perform this action... 'YafSearch' does not exist or user does not have permission to perform this action. The install program seems to install all the other tables but errors out on YafSearch.

The install then completes "normally" and the forum pops up but no Admin sign on. In the upper right hand corner I have "Search, Active Topics, and Members".
Any thoughts?

Thanks again to the Yaf staff for all your help!

This all sounds like a login problem. You did not need to re-create anything. If you have a backup, restore it, and log in. If the site is nor recognising the password, build a temporary page to execute a forced password reset. Then the link will re-appear.

As far as the YAF search, I think this is the FTS index. You need to re-run the SQL to create it, or, as the message states give the current user dbadmin rights to the database.
