Did you put the App_Code directory in your root?

Hi Jaben - Yes, I copied the YAF/App_Code into my App_Code directory : so I now have App_Code/YAF/App_Code...

Is this correct?

Thanks

Not sure that will work. Try dumping all the files into the root of the App_Code directory. Remove the sub's. So your full path would something like mydomain.com/App_Code

OK - completey replaced the web config with the original - now the site compiles

but - when I try to navigate to the default page i get :

The virtual path '/Yaf/pages/forum.ascx' maps to another application, which is not allowed.

YAF.Classes.Base.ForumPage forumControl = ( YAF.Classes.Base.ForumPage ) LoadControl( src );

WTF??
