Hi,

Although I do realize that "Enable email sending" is there in the admin section but I feel that that option should be left for the members to decide. The member can modify his profile to show his email (the email button) to the public with a checkbox option or the other way this could be done is to have two email addresses - public and private just like how the asp.net forums are doing it.

Thanks

Im just trying to say that logged in Members are able to send u e-mail right? Now the problem is some members would not appreciate guys sending them e-mails (except if lost password where the automated e-mail is sent). So this should be configurable in the Member's profile where he can turn it on/off. Hope you now get what i'm saying.

Ah....your asking for a "receive e-mail from other users?" option box! Right?

I agree...a nice addition, easily implemented.
