My new file upload button does not seem to respond - do I need to enable this somewhere?

Does the browser console shows any errors after you click on start upload?

OK so it is not a function that needs to be enabled then?

There is a message I get that I have no understanding of:

If the upload button is visible then it is already enabled, so it must be a javascript issue . For some reason the bootrap modal doesnt work. I can not reproduce the issue with yaf, it is possible that you're loading any etra scripts on the site?

Definitely possible.

It seems to be a problem with Chrome but the same browser works on the YAF site as I showed in the video.....?

Very odd as you would think that it would be one or the other.

Looks like i was wrong. the attachment button is always there even if the user doesnt have upload access. This will be fixed in YAF 3.1.6. So it appears that the upload access is not set.

You can do this under Admin > Users and Roles > Edit the Role you want to assign upload/download access.

Just so you know this was the issue and it is now sorted.

The only other thing that has been reported on this build in Chrome, and I am not sure it happens every time, is that when you click post reply to enter a reply, and then change you mind and cancel, it throws an error.
