Draft post auto-save dialog positioning

The auto-save dialog box appears very often and directly in the middle of the page right over top of where users are typing. Can the dialog box be less frequent, and or less intrusive? maybe just the positioning needs to be positioned relative to the post text box?

I cannot really reproduce this. By default the message appears on top center of the current page position. The only option would be to display instead on the bottom
