As I work towards moving my users off of PHPBB and on to YAF, my first step was simply to write a sql statement to output XML that can be imported into YAF with the import user function. This went well except that it emailed all the imported users before I was ready for it to happen. Is there a way to turn this off until I'm ready. And when I'm ready, is there a way to tell it to do it without importing?

Thanks in advance,
Ed.

No that can't be turned off user name / email needs to be unique which are important to identify the user.
