I finally figured out how to get moderators added to a forum (for some reason, admins won't show up in the moderators column, but users will).

I finally figured out how to get moderators added to a forum (for some reason, admins won't show up in the moderators column, but users will).

I could be incorrect here, but my experience is Admin's are not Moderator's, however, you can add Moderator role to an Admin. I did just that so I could be notified of Reported Posts to my Admin account.

The Moderator will have to follow/watch the topic/forum for new posts.

How does a moderator follow the entire forum? I don't see anywhere to checkbox or select that in the forum page.

Also, even though I have checked the box in ths YAF forum, I have not been notified that you posted a reply. I had to come here and check.

EDIT: Where on the page do I do that. The people are already "invited" as moderators, althongh they never get notified and accept or decline.

EDIT2: I see where I can watch a topic within a forum by selecting from the Options dropdown. Please tell me that I don't have to go through every swinging topic an a fourm and do this. Please tell me how I can follow an entire forum.

If you want to subcribe to all for forums you need to go to all forums, but there is one secret option to subscribe to everything.

It needs to be enabled in the host settings first under Host -> Host Settings -> Permisions -> Allow Notification of All Posts on All topics

Then there is a new option available in the User Control Panel under Email Notification Preferences -> Notification for all posts on all topics
