I have just upgraded my forum from 1.9.6 beta to 1.9.6.1 RWT Final,
I met the issue in email for verify register member.
the content of this email, it is so strange, it is included separate characters, like this:

It could be a bad language file. Which language is the default language in your forum. If its english look at the english.xml file in the languages folder. And look for the following content


If your xml looks like this the language file is ok. Did other email send emails from yaf look the same? It could be a problem with your email client, did you try to open the email with a different email client?
