Hello,

On the front page of YAF, it says it can be integrated with Umbraco. I cannot find any guide to this on your website.

I've tried the following guide, but it is from 2009, so i don't think it works anymore:

I have followed the guide (more or less - the App_Code directory does not exist, so i've copied the files from the

Classes

folder into Umbraco's

App_Code

folder) and i get the following error when trying to access install/default.aspx:

Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.

I am running Umbraco through Microsoft WebMatrix. For the forum im using a local SQL Express database - Umbraco is using a local file.

Do you have any suggestions on how to integrate YAF wih Umbraco or to fix my issue?

Which version of Umbraco? Yes, I haven't tried it recently.

You will need to look at the Umbraco logs for more information. The error is too generic to be able to offer any assistance.

Would it be possible for the YAF team to create a guide on how to implement it with Umbraco, as there are not many forums to choose from out there
