Hi there,

Just got our YAF set up today.
How can we allow users to upload images and display them into a post?
We are using CKEditor.

I've looked at this forum post:

I have an older YAF site with CKEditor that allowed users to do this but it was built into the editor. This does not seem to be the case anymore.

ok One way is to follow the guide with ckfinder (Which is not free). Or you use the attachment function to allow users to Attach images (and other files if you want to).

Thanks. So once they upload them as attachments they can embed them into a post?

I'm just wondering if the user would know the URL of the uploaded file.

After the upload the images are automatically attached to the message and embedded at the end of the message.
