How can I not use hasAlgorithType="SHA1"

Hi All,
Can you please tell me How can I NOT USE the hasAlgorithType="SHA1" on the membership provider tag on web.config ?
I am using YAF with another application and it uses different algorithm.
Or atleast can I use it only for YAF and not setting it for Deafult membership provider ?!
