Everything (was) workng fine ... but something has changed (strange as I havn't been working on it) and this error now appears (http://leansoftware.net/forum)

Could not load file or assembly 'AjaxPro.2' or one of its dependencies. Access is denied.

Please can I ask for some help ..

The assembly is not used by YAF for a long time.
It's a common ASP.NET error and you'd better ask Google.

I deleted and replaced the bin directory - that seems to have fixed it.
Can't understand how it worked before ..!

This is very strange!

everything was fine - but last night the same problem occured again.

On inspection the bin directory contained old version of the files again.

I have requested a restore from our service provider this time so hopefully in a couple of hours it will be back online.

I have no idea though how these files are reverting - this has happened between 1:30 am and 8am - when I was asleep - so wasn't me!

Running on windows 2008 server.

If anyone can suggest what might be happening I woul dbe very grateful indeed.

That sounds like a security issue not related to YAF. YAF doesn't auto-update or anything like that, so if it was me, I'd be looking into who's messing with my server more than anything.

If it loads .dll only it looks like a hosting server problem which loads old .dlls. It's impossible to say what exactly happens but it can be SharePoint tricks, a failing server that forces them to reload backups.Change passwords and use https//: where possible. Look in FTP server log or in any other log who accessed your site.
