Hello!
Please, help me with the following question: by what algorithm key words in meta-tags are formed?

E.g., for this page (http://wellgold.ru/yaf_p...-nuzhien-etot-forum.aspx) the result is the following cloud:

I’ve got several questions:
1. How is the tag cloud formed?
2. Where I can find source code that creates the cloud?
3. Where are these tags stored? I’ve looked in the DB and in the installation directory – haven’t found them.
4. Can I change these tags through web interface?

The meta keywords are auto generated from the content of the first message of a topic.

The Method GetCleanedTopicMessage where the keywords can be found in the file YAF.Core.Services YafFormatMessage.cs

So the cloud of meta tags are generated each time a user loads a page? But the views of still more questions than answers in the thread. Does not affect it negatively on performance? You do not plan to cache meta tags? If you are planning, where (db or *. xml) and what version they'll be cached?

The tags are cached inside the internal Caching system (HTTPCache), and you can not manually modify the tags. This is planed for future releases where you can define tags for each Topic.

YAF meta tags need help!

Please put this on the top your to do list for the next release. It is making SEO optimization a nightmare. Basically impossible.

Any work arounds at all until then? I'd rather use the title of the post for the meta description and keywords instead of the way it is done now.
