Godaddy has a virtual windows server 2008 standard 64 bit package with 2g of memory, 30g of storage, and 1,000g/month bandwidth for $36 a month.

I would be running visual studio 2005 and msSQL 2005 express as well.

Should I anticipate any issues of problems? This would be a migration.

There's a guy running YAF with 30k users + 500 forums (hundreds active at any time) on much less. There will be no problems unless you users count is in the hundreds of thousands.

Then I would just recommend upgrading to v1.9.5.5 which would fix that problem.

Thanks. I plan on upgrading as well. I have purchased the package and will migrate in the next few days. After I get everything up and running I will upgrade to 1.9.5.5 and net 3.5. My whole community is built around YAF, I just want to take one step at a time. I'll let you know how it goes.
