i'd really like to use Yet another Forum but i'm stuck.

I have a local development IIS 7 and a remote sql server.

i set the ConnectionString accordingly to the providers url.

Data Source=ipaddress,portno;Initial Catalog=dbname;User ID=username;Password=***********

nothing happens during install, i have copied the recommended web.config and tried to point at /install/default.aspx but nothing, really nothing happens.

No asp.net error, nothing.

Any hint? Perhaps it's the portnumber? I'm pretty desperate.

hm, changed the activate 32-bit in IIS settings for the yaf apppool to active. check
