I am still having issues with my current account which include:

not being able to change my email

not able to change my signature

not able to view members profiles by clicking on their named links

not being able to look at my album at all

in some of these instances I am getting a db null reference aspx error message

 Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types.
Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code.

Exception Details: System.InvalidCastException: Object cannot be cast from DBNull to other types.

Source Error:

The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL:

1. Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example:

  <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" %>

or:

2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application:

<configuration>
   <system.web>
       <compilation debug="true"/>
   </system.web>
</configuration>

Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. The first technique will cause only that particular file to be compiled in debug mode.

Important: Running applications in debug mode does incur a memory/performance overhead. You should make sure that an application has debugging disabled before deploying into production scenario.

I am inclined to think that it might have to do with my account information on the database being corrupted.

I noticed this happening after I tried to change my email and it wasn't successful.

I am really hoping that someone could give this a look or I might just have to create a new profile and go from there but I would rather not since I have some decent posts I would like to stay attributed to me.

Pls any response from someone with the power to help fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

I have the same issue and error message; both when I try to view a profile from userbox or members list
Enjoy!

I can only suspect that it originates in the strings like

Eval("Title").ToString() == string.Empty ?

Eval("CoverImageID") == string.Empty ?

in the file.

There possibly should be

Eval("Title") == DBNull.Value ?

Eval("CoverImageID") == DBNull.Value ?

But it could be much better if kamyar looked into it.

I don't have such a problem.

My problem resoved; if anything was changed it's fixed now; if nothing was changed I guess it was a hickup?

Enjoy!
