By and large I'm happy with the latest update to the system. One of the things my users are complaining about, though, is the inability to right click on a link in any given message and be able to open it in a new tab. The editing menu just comes up. Is there anyway to restore this ability?

Why not simply click on the link? By default they open in a new tab..

Tried that. When I click to save the settings I get:

A potentially dangerous Request.Form value was detected from the client (ctl00$MainContent$forum$ctl03$IPLocatorUrlPath="...city/?key=<your_api_key>&ip={0...").

You need to disable page validation. In your aspx page where the forum control is placed set
ValidateRequest="false"
in the
<%@ Page ... %>
directive.
