Love to see the progress and support for this forum, and moving it forward.

Are there any plans to add support for tapatalk?

It would definitely add value and make it much easier to be active from a mobile device!

I hope support will come with all of this activity to improve the forum right now!

Thanks!!

I don't see the benefit, of spending ours of work in such a feature. The new YAF version with Bootstrap is developed for mobile first.

What you mean with support? Of course there is support already.

The value of using tapatalk is that it consolidates many forums into one application, making it easy to read and reply across many forums easily.

Leveraging bootstrap to make it mobile first will be awesome, for sure. Other advantages of using tapatalk, is that it also ends up being the hosting provider when posting images to a thread. (which makes it very easy for users to add images to a reply/post.

Of course there is support, and very good support! I had meant support for tapatalk. The support for the forum is top notch.

Also, talking about the forum, so far there has been no need for support for me at all, since it has been rock solid since I installed and configured it. Very well built! Regardless of tapatalk integration or not, I am very much looking forward to this new version that will be mobile first!

Keep up the great work!!

Thanks!!

As always make sure you make a backup.

    Otherwise follow the upgrade guide

    https://github.com/YAFNET/YAFNET/wiki/Upgrade-(from-Version-1.9.5.5-or-above)

You can skip the web.config part. there are no changes if you upgrade from version 2.30.00

Thanks. I am understanding that I can Ignore Step 5 in the upgrade instructions.
Am I correct. Step 5 is not necessary?
