Has this been fixed? I have a new install and am seeing emails for registrations but not on new moderated posts etc.

Thanks

Administrators must be made a member of the moderator role to get moderator notifications. This issue has recently been discovered. I believe it is to be changed in the next version.

Daily Digest requires several configuration options to be set. Please search - as there is a detailed topic regarding its configuration requirements to work properly. YAF is currently undergoing overhaul of several mail functions for next version.

@squirrel,

Thanks for the reply. You mean a role with the "Is Forum Moderator" option selected? I already this set. I have also tried creating a separate role with just this set and made users a member of this role too. Still no joy.

Moderators are set via the access mask under Admin -> Users and Roles -> Access Mask -> Edit Access Mask -> There is a Moderate Checkbox. An access mask is applied to an role for each forum individually. You can also add single users to an access mask.

Thanks tha_watcha, I think I have this set up correctly.

I have both the Administrator Access and Moderator Access Masks set to have 'Moderator Access'. My user is assigned to both the Administrator and Moderator roles. In the forum configuration I have the roles mapped to the appropriate administrator and moderator access masks. Still no emails.

Just to clarify; where the site mentions 'group', this is really a 'role'?

How can I assign individual users to an Access Mask? I thought it had to be done via a role. I guess there can be only one user assigned a role.

OK, false alarm. It appears that now the notifications were just being filtered as spam. Thanks for all your help. At least I've learnt something!

Yes both are the same, technically they are roles but mostly there a called groups in yaf.

That Feature is actually a bit hidden, there is a Moderate Button when you browse a forum on that moderate page you can assign a user to a specific access mask for that forum.
