Hi,

After adding YAF.TwitterConsumerKey and YAF.TwitterConsumerSecret in app.config file when I am running the code it gives me this error

"The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized."

Is there any solution for this?
How can I solve this?
Is there any minor settings to be done?

Please help.

Thanks.

Did you follow the guide on how to register your site?

http://yafnet.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Twitter%20Integration&referringTitle=Documentation

The Twitter API has changed recently, i need to check if something is broken that is causing the problem.

Hi tha_watcha,

Yes absolutely. I have done as per the link you have posted in reply. But it is not working. As it is going to twitter website and you will be able to access and can login successfully.

But when twitter is sending request back to your URL at that in browser this "401" error is being displayed.

Yes please check if you can resolve this as I have tried in vagarious ways or even I have made simple application in asp.net to login with twitter and still it is having the same problem. So please do the same or try in your ways so that we can login successfully.

Thanks tha_watcha.

I'm having the same problem.

I've followed the instructions in the Twitter Integration link, ensuring I have given my Twitter app Read & Write permissions but I still get the "The remote server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized." error.

Please disable twitter login. turns out the api urls have changed.

I committed the changed files to the repository...

http://yafnet.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/0cc0486d9c24

If you able to compile the source code you can fix this yourself otherwise you have to wait for the next version.
