Hi all

I have recently setup YAF on my Windows 2008 Server, everything installed smoothly. However the email sending is not working as expected. The settings for the email account i am using are:

I have added the same email account in my email client(thunderbird), from where the emails can be sent and received without any problems. I have tested YAF smtp settings again and again but no emails are sent. When i try to test the smtp from /install section. I get the following error:

Failed to connect:

Failure sending mail.

Please help.

I have resolved the issue. The server on which my YAF was hosted was also serving as the SMTP, so in my case it was not able to resvole its 'own' hostname. So i changed the hotname to localhost and now its working.
