I found a very interesting idea on the Internet. Instead of showing the last nn threads and mark these threads for the user if he didn't read them here is another idea:

•My last nn posts.
•The last nn Active posts.
•The last nn posts with no replies.

The numbers should be configurable in the forum options for sure. But what posts to show can and should be selected by the user using a drop-down list. I see this feature as a very nice addition. Say, I have read most of the threads and want to get the list of the threads that I want to read. Here it is!
