Over time people change their email addresses and forget to update their online profiles. So now I'm getting a number of email bounces whenever a subscription alert is sent out.

I'd like to flag this user in some way so that the alerts are not sent to them until they have updated their address. Sending watch alerts will then check for this flag before sending.

How is the community dealing with this issue? Is there a solution built in that I just don't know about.

Any help is appreciated.

All the issues and requests are posted here . In other case they have a very little chance to be resolved/implemented.
