Hi,

I have just installed YAF on my machine.

I am having problems while going through the wizard i.e the URL localhost/install/

On the create forum form I'm getting this message in the form.

SMTP Server:
Set SMTP server settings in the mail.config file.

I've also checked the other posts but didnt help me much.

Am currently using this version 'YAF-v1.9.3-FINAL-BIN-NET20.zip' which I have downloaded and installed on my system.

My mail.config file reads:







And I'm using Framework 2.0.

Could you please guide me through this error as I'm not able to proceed further.

I managed to overcome the problem.

It was related to the password. Password had to be a complex one with puntuation.

The smtp message was misleading.
