I think there is a bug in the forums app.

The bug is:

  • when you click on the link in your verification email from forums, received after registration, then you are taken to a 'email validation' page and clicking on 'Validate' button always results in 'Email Validation Failed'.

Please let me know how I can solve this.

I noticed the same behavior before I realized that I was setting up the user and them validating them through the forum BEFORE they received the email.  If their already registered and then try to submit registrations verification again, it will give you the error message.

You did not read my post minutely.

I said AFTER REGISTERING I click on link that is inside the verification email. I am then taken to a page that says 'Email verified'. Then, when I login it takes me to a page that has validation key and a validation button. When i click on the validation button the page posts back saying 'Email NOT valid'. TRY THE STEPS THAT I HAVE MENTIONED AND YOU WILL UNDERSTAND THE PROBLEM.

CAN SOMEONE HELP ?
