It has been awhile since I stopped by. YAF has been working brilliantly. My installation is a bit old and I can see there is a bunch of cool new stuff... I would like to upgrade it... Where should I start. I want to preserve my user base and their posts, the board is important to the community... I appreciate any help I can get! Cheers

Download, backup your files and DB, ENSURE you are using the correct web.config (there are two to choose from) otherwise your users won't be able to login after the upgrade, run the install. Voila.

Ok, I figured it out. If you encounter this you will need to: assign permissions for the aspnet and the iusr accounts to your windows/temp folder... :-d

Uh oh... can't log in now... I did use the v191-upgrade-web.config file... Hmm... Any advice?
