Hello. In 1.9.5 rc1 i originally see the date format of posts in US format. Isn't that supposed to read the browser's settings automatically ? Anyway. So i go to admin/board settings/culture and i select English (united kingdom). and save. While now the date is in EUR format, the saved selection doesn't show correctly in the admin/board settings/culture. It always show English (United States)no matter what. thanks |

Yes. It takes an invariant culture like 'en' and the first culture name. In a user profile and in admin section the same code is used. It's not a problem because all usable cultures are set in user profiles only. English language file contains language='en' tag, so YAF defaults to 'en-US' culture. You can add many culture-specific files to the folder. File names don't matter at all. Only tag 'culture' matters. You can copy the file and replace it with language='en-GB' and you'll have the option. Update. I'm sorry but it was changed by someone and works really incorrectly now. May be someone will fix it. Put it on the tracker, please. |
