| I'd like to give members of our message board the possibility to subscribe to a thread and receive updates via e-mail. According to [url=http://forum.yetanotherforum.net/yaf_postst10502_How-to-switch-off-email-notification.aspx]this topic[/url] it's possible to subscribe to a thread. But on our message board I can't find the option to do this. So how do I enable this? Thanks for your help! |

| This feature is enabled in YAF by default. Actually we have been discussing about how to turn it off in the post you have mentioned. Users in your forum have 2 options to receive email notifications for topics: 1- If users want to be notified about new posts in each topic that they have posted a message, they should go to: My Profile->Edit Profile and check the [b]Watch every topic in which ....[/b] checkbox in the forum settings folder. (See attachment no.1) 2- Uesrs always can use [b]Watch this topic[/b] link available in options menu which can be found in evey topic page's top right corner. (see attachment no. 2) |
