I just installed YAF-v1.9.4-RC1 on my hosting platform - Network Solutions. The Installation went well.

The forum is installed as a sub domain in my website. When the page loads on IE8 it generates a client side error.

I also discovered that the Side Nav Menu for administrative tasks is not visible. What could be the cause since this forum is a support forum for our clients and it needs to go live. The error details is given below

error Webpage error details

Did you copy all the assemblies to /Bin folder?

DNA.UI.JQuery.dll

jQueryNet.dll

DNA.dll

- Check that the hosting provider uses .NET CLR 3.5.30729 (.NET 3.5 SP1)

hi i've installed yaf. 1.9.5.5 on a subdomain first to make sure it was all working fine. And after battling for 2 days i have.

The problem is I actually want it to be on a subfolder of my main site.

So I have changed all the setting in app.config to include ~/forum (i even tried /forum without the tilde).

It seems to work ok, except the admin menu on the left hand side has disappeared?!!!?

Using fiddler i can see that it is doing a 301 redirect to

/ScriptResource.axd?d=QNj0_aXUAT9j9h9CE7SmZc1Mr1zy2GY9o1T52PtvLTkB70exs...........

is not returning any content.....

what could i be doing wrongly?

Edit

Ok so i've worked out its one of my previous rewrite rules that i have that is causing an error. Will remove them one by one to find the culprit.....

Edit 2

--------------------------

so it was a previous rewrite rule. Found the b*******.

Thanks
