Hy guys,

Now my mail.config file is like this

Problem is: when I click email button in topics, I get Message failed and in event log I see:

System.Net.Mail.SmtpException: Failure sending mail. ---> System.IO.IOException: Unable to read data from the transport connection: net_io_connectionclosed.

at YAF.Classes.Utils.SendMail.Send(MailAddress fromAddress, MailAddress toAddress, String subject, String bodyText)

at YAF.Pages.im_email.Send_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

The web server hosting the app is listening on 81 port, just to know.

All other email features (like Mail from admin section) don't work, but they don't show any other error on screen and also they don't put anything in Event Log.

I tried putting the IP address of the server in network host, but nothing. My email server is hMailServer version 5.1.2-b346

Come on, no one had this problem before?

At least some ideas maybe?

There isn't much anyone can do to help configure your environment. Keep trying, good luck!

When I post fp:mddubs in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Mek 🙂, who stole this off Ederon 🙂 )
