I am having a major issue trying to prune my forum.

I was not aware that I needed to manually prune the topics and now that I have a forum about 2 years old, i have to prune a ton of stuff.

I am getting a "time out" error when i try to prune and even if I try to go back just a few days at a time from the forum beginning, I still get an error and am never able to get the forum pruned or trimmed down.

Can anyone help me with this function and explain what I need to do in order to get the size of forum under control now that the prune function seems to not be working?

Is this something I am doing wrong or is this a known issue?

Don't think this feature has been improved any in 1.93 either. Your forum is a similiar size to mine; so i'll try the same.

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon 🙂 )

What did you find out?

Seems to me that my forum is huge and I can't trim it...which is creating a mojor problem.

Is there another way to cut of the back end of your forum data in order to get thing to a normal size?
