I have installed YAF 1.9.3 RC2 in a subdirectory of my website and have the forum working to the extent that when I click the link for the .ASPX page that the forum is embedded in, the Guest view displays without errors. When I click the "Login" link however, I get this error:

Server Error in '/' Application.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The resource cannot be found.

Description: HTTP 404. The resource you are looking for (or one of its dependencies) could have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please review the following URL and make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Requested URL: /demo/forums/yaf/forums.aspx

When I mouse over the Login link, the url that is displayed in the status bar of my browser is:

http://10.28.97.11/demo/forums/yaf/forums.aspx?g=login&ReturnUrl=%2fdemo%2fforums%2fforums.aspx .

The page forums.aspx is my page that the forum is embedded into, I do not understand why the URL is going all the way to the "yaf" directory and then looking for the forums.aspx page.

I appreciate any help that can be offered to resolve this issue.

Thanks.

what have you set your baseurl to?

When I post FP:Mek in a topic, I'm leaving my footprint there so I can track it once I get into coding/supporting. (Yes I stole this off Ederon 🙂 )

Update on my issue...

I have removed and reinstalled the YAF files, this time placing them in the /demo/forums directory rather than in the demo/forums/yaf directory. After performing the steps outlined in the integration guide, the forum appears to be working properly. I will continue testing and update if there are further issues.

Thanks for the help!
