In this forum it took me 45 minutes to create the visual effects.

I used 2 tables. Fist table has 1 cell. 2nd table has 3 cells.

3 jpg files, 1 gif file and 1 png file. The only html codes I used was

and . All the rest of the stuff I did was to drag and drop ASP.Net 2.0 compponets into the application. I didn't even edit 1 line in YetAnotherForum C# codes.

The web authoring tool that was used was Visual Studio 2008 Professional Edition. Microsoft Web Expression 2 and Visual Studion 2005/2008 Express Edition tool will do the same thing. I prefer to use the Visual Studio web authoring tool.

This above post is kinda old. I guest that you are working with ASP.NET 2.0 tags and Visual Studio 2008 Express Edition. What I did was I made

tags where the banner was suppost to be at. Between those two
tags I put a table. I designed the cells in the table where I want them to look like. Then I drag and drop the forums gray box to the cell in the table where I want the forum to be at.

I change the Forums look sense the above post. I went to a MasterPage.master setup. Right now I have complete control over the forum looks w/o changing a single line of the forums codes.

If you want YAF to be your default home page you have to do nothing. If you want YAF forum to be part of your Default page make a table or go to a MasterPage.Master sertup
