I have a webserver running IIS 6 and SQL and the YAF as only application.

After several hours the inetinfo.exe uses more then 900 Mb memory.

I have looked at it, hardware experts have looked at it and they trace it back to YAF having a memory leak.

Does anyone know how I can solve this? The application has more then 7000 users a day, so it's really important I can solve this problem very quickly. After a while the server becomes extremely slow and stops responding.

please help!

I've been running multiple instances of YAF, on various machines, and have never even heard of this happening!

Are you running YAF "out of the box"?

Memory leak huh? Why not just set IIS settings so that it recycles the app if it starts using too much memory?

The only major persistent memory YAF uses would be the Cache. And the cache is designed to de-allocate ram as needed.

FYI -- "hardware experts" don't necessarily have any expertise in software or tracing memory leaks. You'll need to provide a bit more specific info.

This amounts to me saying "there is monster in the ocean!" -- well, okay, but good luck finding it.
