I am using version 1.9.1.8 (NET v2.0) - 3/29/2008

Is there a setting I can set so that when someone replies to a post everyone else who has previously replied will get an e-mail notification that the post has been replied to?

I've seen other forums with this an I would really like to have it on mine.

Testing it here.

OK, I see that the original poster has the option to be notified by e-mail of any replies but by default the box is not checked. Is there a way to make the box checked by default.

What I don't see is the same option for people who reply to the original post. Is there a setting for that. I would like to have these on by default.

Have a look at setting the database field default value to "true" (or whatever) by default. Just might work. No idea which table or what field.
