I am loving these forums - after switching from the DNN portal and forums.

I am using this for a gaming guild website and would like to know if there is any way that I can add a "News" or "Announcements" main page to the forums.

For example, when someone goes to my site, instead of it going directly to a page that lists all the forums, I want to go to a page that will probably be a RSS feed to an announcement forum and from there they can choose to navigate to other forums...

Any ideas will be truly appreciated.

I see you got a news page working on your site. Any interest in sharing your code, or insight on how you got it working? I'm hosting a gamer's guild forum and would like to do the same thing.

First thing I should admit, is that it is not a "full" integration. What I initially did was I took the html code of a rendered forums page and created a template page using the forum page that has already been theme formatted.

Then I stripped it down to a skeleton.

Then I started playing around in the source code in the rssfeed code and played around with the query and output to get it to what I wanted. When I had that, I then created an RSS reader and populated the skeleton page with the rss feed.
