Hi,

I'm using the BBCode editor on my site. On the dev version on my computer it works fine. On the "live" version, which is just a published version the buttons don't do anything. I tried it in IE, Firefox, and Chrome and it always works on my dev version, but never on the version that is published up to the web.

Also the BBCode buttons work fine in this forum. I assumed some file just must not have been included by visual studio in the published version, but i checked and the "editors" folder has all the appropriate files.

Any ideas what is going on here? You can see my forum here  if that helps.

also i just tried using tiny_mce and then FreeTextBox and when i tried to use either i get the same result, namely just a textbox with no buttons anywhere or anything.

On FreeTextBox 3.2 i put the dll in the bin folder and copied the FreeTextBox folder with the scripts and images into the editors folder.

On tiny_mce i didn't see any sort of dll anywhere, so i just copied the tiny_mce scripts/images folder into the editors folder.

I actually am using tiny_mce on other places in my site so that would probably be my preference. But anyways, anyone know how to get these working?

ok i've found out what is happening with the BBCode. the browsers are blocking these BBCode buttons. In IE if i allow scripted windows they work.

The weird thing is that the buttons work fine in this website (yetanotherforum), but on my site the script is being blocked (ratemyeverything ).

Any ideas why this is?
