How Do You Delete an Attachment from a post/message

I uploaded a file to a post on my forum & after viewing it I thought Hmm could be better but I could not see how to delete it without deleting the entire post.

Anyone know to delete an attachment from a post without deleting the post.

Last option would be delete your post and then re-post. Generally you can edit post but have less facilities for other changes in the forums.

I lost track of this post but have worked out how to delete a file attachment.

Steps to delete a file attachment

1. On the message with the attachment select the attachments button.

2. You will see on the attachments form the name of the attachment & on the right side you will see an option to delete the attachment. Select the delete link to delete.
