I'm using YAF ver.1.9.1.8, could I embed .FLV video files in posts?

Not without source code modifications and knowledge of Regular Expressions.

In v1.9.3 you can add new BBCode items in the admin.

I've embeded "Flowplayer" into a site I built for a documentary/short film producer to show off his wares. It's a freeware, YouTube-ish type player that we may want to consider including as part of the YAF package. It works beautifully.

But in the mean time, you might take a look at it as a workaround for your needs. I downloaded it here: Flow Player

For .flv you can use a google widget.

1.Put mediaplayer.swf in root dir

2.add BBCode

3.Create you location of the .flv files (i`m use ftp:\\)

4.update BBCodem-> file=you_location${name}' for exapmle file=ftp://server/${name}'
