UPDATE 5th May 2023

THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED, NOT A YAF ERROR!

User profile page links are mixed up, and the link for "EditAvatar" was wrongly replaced by "EditSettings". Users cannot update their avatars, unless they somehow guess the URL. (This worked in 3.1.12. or just before when I did a lot of user settings changes and testing.)

I cannot reproduce the issue With that version. Also not here in the support forum.

There where no changes been made in that version.

Yes! Now, I have received info from another user, who said he also has no problems with this. This user is an account on the same 3.1.13 forum in question.

I do have this problem with two different accounts on two different browsers on the same PC, with this 3.1.13 forum installation. I have no idea how to try to debug this. I will try with other accounts, I have like 5 normal ones plus "Admin" and "Host with Admin priveleges". They are also on different web browsers. Will report back if anything is found.

EDIT: I think I found the error!

If I select "Modify Avatar" from the top menu, everything is OK.

If I select "Edit Profile" from the top menu, and then try to "Modify Avatar" from the left menu, I get edit profile, not edit avatar.

(So everything works, only the left menu in Edit Profile section is fiddled-up.)

EDIT 2: on this running instance (on THIS server on yetanotherforum.com), everything is OK. This means something is fiddled-up on my own server. Will have to investigate.

This issue has been solved. It is not a YAF error, but there was "fiddling" with YAF source code. I have always said that this should not be done in an unauthorized way. And there we have it. 🤣
