The Default Notification Setting is not working. I have select "Notification for topics you've posted to, watched or marked as favorite" but when a user register in the website it always showing Turn off notifications.

The YAF.NET Version is : 1.9.6.1 (Date: 3/17/2012).

If we will upgrade to the latest version then all old database and forum setting will be removed? Is this correct?

No nothing will be removed. The forum will work normally after the upgrade. But its recommended that you do a backup of the database, in case something goes wrong!

How can upgrade forum? There is two option showing under Upgrade tab.

1. Version Check

2. Install

Which option use for upgrade the forum? There is also a license key. Is this affected after upgrade?

The Upgrade is described in the documentation...

The license key should work
